2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Trim Levels

According to the Forest City Chevy dealer, buyers can get the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD in one of eight trim levels, listed as Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country.

There are four engine choices. The WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST and LT Trail Boss are powered by a standard 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Custom Trail Boss and higher trims are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 that puts out 355 hp and 385 lb-ft, matched to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Four-wheel-drive versions of the RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ and High Country get an optional 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, paired to a 10-speed automatic.

All four-wheel-drive models except the Custom have an available 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder engine that develops 277 hp and 460 lb-ft, coupled to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The Silverado 1500 LTD Work Truck trim is the only one offered as a regular cab. Standard features include 17-inch steel wheels, automatic on/off halogen headlights, a tilt-only steering wheel, a 40/20/40 split-bench seat, manual windows and door locks, vinyl upholstery, air conditioning and a rearview camera. The standard infotainment system comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, a stereo with two speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a USB port and Bluetooth. In Double Cab and Crew Cab configurations, the Work Truck trim gets power windows and door locks and a stereo system with six speakers.

The Silverado 1500 LTD Custom trim is offered as a Double Cab or a Crew Cab. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, remote keyless entry, remote start, cloth seating, heated power mirrors, an LED cargo-bed light, an EZ Lift tailgate with a power lock, trailer-hitch guidance, a trailering package, an antitheft alarm system and cruise control. Also standard is a stereo system with six speakers, satellite radio capability, Wi-Fi, and OnStar connected services.

The Silverado 1500 LTD Custom Trail Boss was designed to provide the optimal experience when driving off-road. It includes four-wheel drive, a 2-inch suspension lift, Rancho monotube shocks and 18-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with the Z71 off-road package, which consists of an automatic locking rear differential, a two-speed transfer case, a skidplate and hill-descent control.

The Silverado 1500 LTD LT trim comes with 17-inch alloys, keyless entry/push-button start, LED headlights, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front outboard seats, a heated tilt/telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rear-window defogger, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch color information gauge display, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, and front under-seat storage.

The Silverado 1500 LTD RST trim with the Double Cab configuration is only offered with front-wheel drive. Standard features include a single-speed transfer case, 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED taillights and LED foglights.

The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTF LT Trail Boss trim combines the features of the RST and Custom Trail Boss trims.

The Silverado 1500 LTD LTZ features 20-inch polished wheels, external transmission-oil and engine-oil coolers, heated and ventilated leather front bucket seats, a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, rear heated outboard seats, power-folding outboard mirrors, an auto-dimming driver’s-side outboard mirror, an integrated trailer-brake control, an Advanced Trailering System, a power-operated tailgate, a rear power-sliding window, and a pair of 120-volt power outlets. Standard driver assistance features include lane-departure alert, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear park assist, and blind-spot monitoring

The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD High Country has the same features as the LTZ trim, plus 20-inch painted aluminum wheels, 6-inch chrome running boards, upgraded LED headlights, perforated leather upholstery, a spray-on bedliner, and a Bose premium audio system with seven speakers.
