The Denali Ultimate also boasts an 18-speaker Bose stereo system for an enhanced audio experience. This trim features darkened chrome trim on the grille and other exterior panels, as well as exclusive 22-inch wheels. According to the Asheville GMC dealership, the Denali Ultimate gets GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving highway mode as an option.
The 2023 GMC Yukon XL is offered in five trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali, and the new Denali Ultimate. Under the hood, the SLE, SLT, and AT4 trims are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that delivers 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The Denali models are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. A 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel engine that puts out 277 hp and 460 lb-ft is available for the SLE, SLT, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trims.
All powertrains are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. All models except the AT4 get standard rear-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive. The AT4 gets all-wheel drive standard.
