Following last year’s successful launch of the latest Colorado generation, Chevrolet introduces the eagerly awaited 2024 Colorado ZR2 Bison. This variant, even more focused on off-road capabilities than the ZR2, is equipped with robust 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory Mud Terrain tires and benefits from the expertise of American Expedition Vehicles (AEV). Under the hood, all Colorado models feature a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which comes in two variants. The Turbo engine produces 237 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and comes standard on the WT and LT trims. For those seeking more power, the TurboMax engine, delivering 310 hp and 430 lb-ft, is optional for the WT and LT and comes standard on the Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 models. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
